So, I have a bunch of pictures from the last few days, but I realized that I had so many pictures of drinks (some of which were meals!) that I might as well do a drinks post.
First up: a really yummy smoothie, though unfortunately consumed on a chilly day.
Into the mix went:
• 3 ice cubes
• 1/2 banana
• 1 cup almond milk
• handful frozen spinach
• 1/3 cup frozen blueberries
There has also been a fair amount of alcohol in the past week. Most was one at a time.
I had beer and a few chips (I checked that they were vegan!) with my friend Emily one night…
And then a glass of red wine on two separate nights last week…
Maybe that was my rationale behind fueling up during the day with things like this:
Actually, despite the amount of alcohol in this post, I really am healthy most of the time.
That drink is really good, by the way.
On Friday night, I needed a break from all of the going out I’d been doing, so I stayed in for my cold and rainy Friday night and enjoyed a cup of vegan hot chocolate.
To make that, I combined a tablespoon of cocoa powder with a little over a cup of almond milk and a tablespoon of water, whisked it all together, heated it for about a minute and a half, and then sweetened it with a little agave. It was lovely.
It was also enjoyed while I watched my favorite movie of all time.
Speaking of my favorite things, Christmas cups are back at Starbucks!
I cannot even begin to tell you how happy this makes me.
Anyway, I threw a party for Mark this Saturday night and had… A little too much alcohol.
Jeez. All of that resulted in a lovely picture like this…

It was my attempt at a hangover cure. I don’t want to talk about it.
